About the Class:
This series is open to all levels of acting experience and offers scene study technique and actor theory through monologues and scene work by contemporary playwrights. Students will hone their craft through dynamic exercises, character exploration, and rehearsals to build confidence in making bold choices on the stage. Whether you’re a seasoned actor or new to the stage, this series offers a supportive environment to meet you where you’re at and challenge you to deepen your craft.
About the Instructor:
Tanner Efinger (he/they) is the Founding Artistic Director of Breadcrumbs Productions and is an actor, director, playwright and educator living and working in Upstate NY. Recently he has directed productions at Cortland Repertory Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Le Moyne College, the Rochester Fringe and at the Everson Museum of Art. From 2019 - 2024 he owned and operated Wunderbar, a queer bar and theatre in Syracuse. Tanner has been acting and teaching acting for over 20 years in New York, Los Angeles, and the United Kingdom.
