ABOUT THE SHOW
Happy Krampus: a wintertime misadventure is a 60-minute immersive, site-adaptive theatrical experience that transforms historic venues into the home of a Krampus. What is a Krampus?! According to legend, this specific monster would accompany St. Nicholas on his wintery walks and kidnap any naughty children; the whispered horrors of what befell those Naughty Children kept the other children in line. They must be good else they disappear, on a cold dark night... like the Naughty Children did...
But perhaps this Krampus is unlike the others. Perhaps nothing is what we thought.
Through live performance and choose-your-own-adventure storytelling, audiences explore the historic property as the world of the play unfolds around them, making choices and encountering characters throughout the space. Happy Krampus is designed for adults and adventurous families ages 12+. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Help Create New Theatre!
Breadcrumbs Productions is bringing back something we love.
In 2017, we launched our first winter tour, creating site-specific theatre inside historic homes and museums across Central and Western New York. We returned in 2018 and 2019, transforming these incredible spaces into the worlds of A Christmas Carol and Marie & The Nutcracker Prince.
Now, after seven years, we're doing it again with Happy Krampus.
We are thrilled to be supported by the New York State Council on the Arts with Support for Organizations but we need a tiny push to get us to our goal! We're raising $1,500 to help us launch this new show!
Your donation directly supports the artists making this new work: actors, designers, directors and theatre-makers who live and work right here in our region. It also helps pay for the costumes, props, travel and all the strange little things required to turn a historic house into the home of a Krampus.
If you can give $10, $25, $50 or more, you're helping us put artists to work and bring this Breadcrumbs tradition back to life.
Help us make something new. Help us make something weird.
